In the green countryside of the Trégor in northern Brittany, the Château de Rosanbo is a handsome château, still owned by the same family after many centuries, famous above all for its magnificent gardens. Rising above a wooded valley, the château of grey stone preserves richly furnished rooms, a fine library and family collections that evoke its long aristocratic history. But its glory is its superb terraced gardens, laid out in part by the great landscape architect Achille Duchêne, with elegant parterres, sculpted yews and long green perspectives that make it one of the loveliest gardens in Brittany.
