The FRAC Auvergne Museum is a contemporary art museum located in Clermont-Ferrand, France. FRAC stands for Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain, which translates to Regional Fund for Contemporary Art. The museum was founded in 1983 and features works of art from the 1980s to the present day. The collection includes more than 400 works by over 100 artists, including paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, and videos. The museum’s mission is to promote and support contemporary art in the Auvergne region and to make it accessible to a wide audience.
