About Le Palais Rameau
The Palais Rameau, in Lille, is a historic building dating from 1878, built thanks to a bequest from Charles Rameau, then president of the city's horticultural society, as a hall for floral and horticultural exhibitions. Its architecture blends regional and Oriental influences reminiscent of 19th-century greenhouse design. Long used for exhibitions and, later, other public purposes, the Palais Rameau remains a distinctive landmark of Lille's heritage, set within its own park.
