About Parc Animalier de Charleville-Mézières
On the edge of Charleville-Mézières in the Ardennes, the Parc Animalier de Saint-Laurent is a 38-hectare nature reserve where visitors can discover the wildlife of the Ardennes forest in a beautiful woodland setting. Along shaded trails, spacious semi-natural enclosures shelter deer, wild boar, foxes, otters, lynx, wolves and birds of prey, most of them species native to this great forested region on the Belgian border. A haven of greenery designed for gentle family walks, the park combines the pleasures of a woodland ramble with close encounters with the animals of the temperate forest, and does important work in raising awareness of local wildlife. Free-feeling, verdant and refreshingly authentic, the Parc de Saint-Laurent is a lovely natural escape at the gateway to the Ardennes.
