About Parc Zoo du Reynou
Set in the magnificent grounds of a 19th-century château estate at Le Vigen, just south of Limoges, the Parc Zoo du Reynou combines a fine zoo with a beautiful landscaped park. Across its 100 hectares of woods, lawns and lakes, laid out as an English-style garden around a grand mansion, live some 600 animals — giraffes, zebras, big cats, wolves, lemurs, red pandas and many more — in spacious, leafy enclosures reached by long walks through the tranquil parkland. The combination of wildlife and a superb botanical setting makes for a peaceful, restful day out quite different from a conventional zoo. Green, elegant and family-friendly, the Parc Zoo du Reynou is one of the loveliest wildlife parks in the Limousin, a place where nature, animals and heritage come beautifully together.
