About Parc'Ours
At Borce, high in the Aspe valley of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Parc'Ours is a mountain animal park devoted above all to the wildlife of the Pyrenees, and famous for its brown bears — including rescued animals given a home here. Along trails winding through the forested mountainside, spacious enclosures shelter bears, wolves, lynx, marmots, izards, deer and other species of the high Pyrenees, letting visitors meet the emblematic and often endangered fauna of these mountains in their natural habitat. Set amid magnificent alpine scenery near the Spanish border, the park combines a family day out with a strong conservation message about the fragile wildlife of the range. Wild, scenic and deeply rooted in its mountain setting, Parc'Ours is a memorable encounter with the animals of the high Pyrenees.
