About Seaquarium du Grau-du-Roi
On the Mediterranean seafront at Le Grau-du-Roi, near the Camargue, the Seaquarium is a large marine centre devoted to the life of the seas, and especially to sharks and marine mammals. Its tanks display the fish of the Mediterranean and tropical oceans, from colourful reef species to a great shark tank crossed by a viewing tunnel where visitors walk surrounded by circling predators. The centre is best known for its Shark Museum and its Seal and Sea-Lion space, where these charismatic mammals can be watched both above and below the water. Committed to education and to the rescue of stranded sea turtles, the Seaquarium blends family fun with marine awareness. Large, engaging and right by the beach, the Seaquarium du Grau-du-Roi is a popular attraction on the Occitanie coast.
