About Zoo de Lyon
The Zoo de Lyon is a much-loved free municipal zoo set within the beautiful Parc de la Tête d'Or, in the heart of Lyon. Home to some 300 animals across many species, it is best known for its large African plain, where giraffes, zebras and antelopes roam together, as well as its lemurs, big cats, crocodiles and reptiles. Free to enter and set amid one of the finest urban parks in France, with lakes and botanical gardens, the Zoo de Lyon is a favourite outing for families and a superb blend of wildlife and greenery in the city.
