About Zoo d'Upie
At Upie in the Drôme, the Jardin aux Oiseaux is a delightful animal and bird park where broad lawns, ponds and flowered gardens are home to a colourful population of some 130 species. As its name suggests, birds take pride of place — flocks of flamingos, parrots, cranes, pelicans and free-flying species animate the grounds — but the park also shelters lemurs, wallabies, small primates and farm animals in gentle, family-friendly enclosures. Spacious and peaceful, with picnic areas among the greenery, it is designed as a relaxed day out where children can wander close to the animals. Pretty, tranquil and especially charming for younger visitors, the Jardin aux Oiseaux at Upie is a lovely wildlife garden in the sunny countryside of the Drôme valley.
