The Ingres Bourdelle Museum, located in Montauban, France, is a fine arts museum that houses a collection of works by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres and Antoine Bourdelle. The museum is housed in an 18th-century building that was once a bishop’s palace, and it was officially inaugurated in 1924. The museum’s collections include paintings, sculptures, and drawings by Ingres, as well as works by Bourdelle and other contemporary artists. Some of the museum’s most notable works include Ingres’ “La Grande Odalisque” and Bourdelle’s “Hercules the Archer.” The Ingres Bourdelle Museum also hosts temporary exhibitions throughout the year, showcasing a range of contemporary and historical works.
